Product Concepts

GPS Auto Silent is an application that can use your current location and depending on that set it to auto silent to even changing the type of ring tones (profile type). Similar to iPhone application that uses time setting to silence the mobile, our application is going to use the location base on GPS. Features of our application are changes sound settings automatically when user is in “do not disturb” GPS location. The application reverts back to original sound settings once general location. It flexibility to configure ring tone, calendar alert, SMS alert, new mail alert, and to configure dose not disturb location. Flexibility to configure does not disturb location. Application runs in background, no need to keep application open. Next is the application that related to GPS Auto Silent, and how it does relevant.

  1. 1. iPhone Auto Silent (Time Setting)

“Auto Silent” is application to disable or bypass iPhone Silent switch. If your switch was broken in silent mode, it will restore all sounds including ring. Then you can use Auto Silent app to put phone into silent mode. There is provision to put phone into silent mode automatically using pre-configured settings in the app or according to appointments in iPhone Calendar. There is Provision to put phone into silent mode based on timer. The phone will come out of silent mode automatically once timer goes off.  The key feature that we will use in our application is auto silent mode. The method to change the profile to silence mode may borrowed by us.

Google Maps for Mobile helps to determine your current location with or without GPS to get driving and transit directions, phone number and addresses for local businesses. Google Maps for mobile works on most phones, including those that run the below platforms. Some mobile phones also support the ability to side load Google Maps onto your phone. We can use the GPS location from Google Maps to setting in our application. The reason that we choose Google Maps instead of another GPS program because Google Maps can use the antenna changing for getting a location in the building or some place that unable to use GPS directly.

  1. 3. Localized Silence Area for Mobile Device

Localized Silence Area for Mobile Device is a system and method for creating a localized silence area. A mobile device may be registered with an access point base station. Any direct communication links from the mobile device to any other base stations may be removed. An indication may be given to the mobile device that the mobile device is in a localized silence zone. The indication may include a request that the mobile device operate in a silent mode, information about making outgoing calls, information about receiving incoming calls, or a combination of these. Procedures for incoming voice calls to the mobile device may be different for different priority levels. The method to use direct communication link is similar in working with our application in changing antenna in the building. We can swap from mobile changing antenna to access point base station to cover the working in each room of building, for example meeting room.
